Colleen Koestner, MBA

Colleen Koestner serves as Chief Operations Officer at Ironwood Wealth Management, where she leads with a focus on operational integrity, scalable systems, and client-centered service. Since joining the firm in 2014, Colleen has advanced through a variety of roles, bringing over a decade of experience in financial services and a deep understanding of firm operations, compliance, HR, and infrastructure.

Colleen earned her MBA with an Emphasis in Project Management from Grand Canyon University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and earning induction into the Delta Mu Delta Eta Chi Chapter of the International Honor Society in Business. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in Justice Studies and Psychology from Arizona State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her career in finance began with an internship at Merrill Lynch, laying the foundation for her commitment to precision and accountability in every aspect of the client experience.

Known for her strong work ethic and thoughtful leadership, Colleen is passionate about building high-functioning teams and driving meaningful progress behind the scenes. Her approach is grounded in values, structure, and collaboration, with an emphasis on doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. She operates with a guiding belief: operations should be intentional, and leadership should leave a lasting impact.

A lifelong Arizonan, Colleen lives in northwest Peoria with her husband, daughter, and two English Springer Spaniels, Wyatt and Iggie. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending quality time with her family.
