Rex Weeks, CFA®

Rex understands that in wealth management there is a huge responsibility to his clients to deliver honesty and accountability. Knowing the sensitivity of his position, he takes his responsibilities seriously. As the Portfolio Manager (CIO), he oversees the investment strategy for client portfolios—deciding how assets are allocated, managing risk, and making ongoing adjustments to keep portfolios aligned with long-term goals. He enjoys watching the value of assets change over time, expediting the moving and allocating of funds to make his clients’ money work for them.

Rex is a native of Phoenix. His interest in tracking the stock market, corporate finance, and investing brought him to the University of Arizona in Tucson to study finance. Upon graduation in 2018 with a BA in Finance, Rex took a position at JP Morgan where he rotated through 3 positions and gained the knowledge of all aspects of financial services. He brings with him years of experience. Rex believes that with Ironwood’s support, he can grow and expand his knowledge and accountability to deliver results to his clients.

Rex is a huge sports fan. He loves all Arizona professional teams. In his spare time he enjoys working out, reading, and traveling.
