Tim Carder

Tim Carder fills the important role of Ironwood’s Tax Director. Leveraging his affinity for numbers and passion for helping others, he oversees many of the firm’s tax-related activities and is primarily responsible for the proper planning and completion of our clients’ tax obligations.

Tim brings extensive experience to the Ironwood family. He’s held positions at small businesses, medium-sized enterprises, and numerous Fortune 500 companies. During that time, he gained experience with all different types of tax situations, and today, he uses that knowledge to contribute to our clients’ financial success. One of his favorite aspects of being our Tax Director is being able to solve tough tax problems and translate those solutions into digestible terms that truly help our clients. 

Tim is a proud father of one daughter who is out in the world “living her best life.” In his free time, Tim doesn’t miss the chance to participate in just about any outdoor activity, including golfing, hiking, and kayaking.
